Burgundy - Beaujolais Wine Tour
Insider's special: 7 days - 6 nights of
glorious gastronomic indulgence,
incomparable wines & backroads beauty
Starting in Paris, we journey to northern Burgundy with a tasting in Chablis before spending 3 nights in Beaune, the wine capital of Burgundy. Exclusive private tastings, vineyard lunches and gourmet meals succeed one another in a relaxed flow of sensual delights. From Burgundy, we travel through the Maconnais to Beaujolais, passing through some of the most beautiful vineyard-scapes in the world. We explore the origins of natural wine, tasting our way through an iconic range of Gamay wines while lodging for 3 nights in a 13th century fortified castle. The tour includes a visit to Perouges and ends in the gastronomic capital of France, Lyon.
Personalised,
exclusive,
life-changing
The wines of Burgundy are among the most celebrated in the world, sought after by amateurs and collectors alike. Being primarily small family domains, they are also notoriously inaccessible, lacking dedicated tasting staff.
With years of personal contact with wine-makers, we open doors to a range of first-tier producers, offering you tasting experiences that one can only enjoy with a professionally-guided tour.
Limited to a maximum of 8 participants, we are small and discreet and therefore able to partake of the best of the best. Particular attention is given to the choice of restaurants with a judicious mix of authentic, innovative, country bistros, and gastronomic treasures.

THE HOTELS OF THE TOUR
HOTEL DE BEAUNE - 30 September, 1, 2 October
"Located in the heart of Beaune, in historic buildings belonging to the cultural heritage of Burgundy, l’Hôtel de Beaune benefits from a truly exceptional architectural environment and location.
The walls of l’Hôtel de Beaune bring together two singular and emblematic buildings: the Hôtel particulier that belonged to the Jadot Family, famous Burgundy wine merchants, and the former Carmel de Beaune, with its 16th century cloister. An invitation to discover the Burgundian soul, while meditating on the link between wine and the divine."
CHÂTEAU DE BAGNOLS - 3, 4, 5 October
The Château de Bagnols was built on the lands of the Lords of Oingt in the heart of the Beaujolais vineyards and the Monts du Lyonnais. In 1217, Guichard d’Oingt, a powerful lord in the Beaujolais region, undertook the construction of a vast Château which, in size, is the equal of the largest buildings of the Aristocracy and the Clergy. It was during this era that work was started on building the Château, its fortifications and its moat.
Today, this 5-star hotel with its twenty-seven suites, named after the famous people who contributed to the Château's glorious past (Guichard d’Oingt, Honoré de Balzac, Madame de Sévigné, to mention but a few) is the glory of the Beaujolais region.
