Day 1 - Thursday - Chateau de la Verrerie (Aubigny-sur Nère / Sancerre)
Departure for Sancerre with lunch en route in Gien at Côté Jardin (1 star Michelin). Wine tasting at Alphonse Mellot (in Sancerre)
Arrival at Château de la Verrerie at 6pm. Dinner (table d’hôte) at the château.
Day 2- Friday - Chateau de la Verrerie (Aubigny-sur Nère / Sancerre)
Wine tastings in the region could include Julien Courtois, Domaine Vacheron, Domaine Riffault… lunch at C’Heu l’Zib in Menetou Salon. Dinner at La Maison d’Hélene
Day 3 - Saturday - Dom des Hauts de la Loire (Onzain)
Visits en route towards Blois could include Salbris, Bracieux the Chateau de Chambord, the Chateau de Cheverny and wine tasting at Domain des Huards and Hervé Villemade. Lunch to be determined based on itinerary and dinner at Assa in Blois (1 star Michelin).
Day 4 - Sunday - Dom des Hauts de la Loire (Onzain)
Visit of the Chateau de Blois, vigneron lunch and tasting with Thierry Puzelat of the Clos de Tue Boeuf. Afternoon visit of the Chateau de Chaumont and or the Chateau d’Amboise. Dinner at the hotel (2 star Michelin).
Day 5 - Monday - Château de la Bourdaisière (Tours)
Visit of the Clos Lucé followed by wine tastings at Huet, La Grange Tiphaine, Francois Chidaine. Lunch in Vouvray, dinner at La Bourdaisiere
Day 6 - Tuesday - Château de la Bourdaisière (Tours)
Visit of Tours and the Chateau de Chenonceaux with lunch in Chenonceaux. Afternoon visit of the Chateau de Villandry. Labour Day. Wine tastings on this day to be determined. Dinner in Tours at La Roche Le Roy (1 star Michelin).
Day 7 - Wednesday - Château de la Bourdaisière (Tours)
Wine tasting with Catherine et Pierre Breton, and Jerome Lenoir, Domaine les Roches. Drive by of Azay-le-Rideau and lunch in Chinon. Dinner at la Bourdaisière
Day 8 - Thursday - Château de Noirieux (Briollay)
Visit of the Abbaye de Fontevraud, tasting with Thierry Germain, Les Roches Neuves. Lunch in Montreuil Bellay with afternoon tasting at La Tour Grise with Philippe Gourdon. Dinner at the hotel (1 star Michelin).
Day 9 - Friday - Château de Noirieux (Briollay)
Visit of Saumur followed by tastings with Clau de Nell, Marc Angeli, Olivier Cousin, and the Coulée de Serrant. Lunch to be determined based on tastings. Dinner in Angers.
Day 10 - Saturday - Château de Noirieux (Briollay)
Visits to taste Muscadet at the Domaine de l’Ecu and Jo Landron. Lunch in Nantes. Dinner at the hotel (1 star Michelin).
Day 11- Sunday (Paris)
Return to Paris via Chartres Cathedral. Lunch at Le Serpente across from the cathedral - one of Chartres oldest brasseries.
The above itinerary and the order of events are subject to change, though the hotels and private châteaux are confirmed and all meals included.
